Ajah, Enugu State PDP Youth Leader, hereby join other well- meaning citizens of the State in expressing gross sadness over the gruesome and unwarranted murder of our brother and one of our own, Mr Okezie Chikezie Mba aka Igbo Jah by some trigger-happy security operatives. The fact that this young star’s life was stubbed off just at the peak of his career leaves all of us utterly devastated. I therefore use this medium to lend my voice to the quest of our teaming youths for deserved justice for Igbo jah and at the same time urge our peace – loving Governor, His Excellency ,Dr Peter N. Speaking to the news men in the early hours of today as at the time of filing this report, the prince of ndumeze ancient kingdom honorable ugochukwu nwanjoku inaugurated his campaign council,, in his words, “I inaugurated my campaign council, anchor on united Aninri for Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku 2024 which has Chief Mike Chukwu and Hon Ben Alukwu as chairmen of the campaign council, as well as elders adversory council respectively, at the La Nueva Hotel, Enugu.
As you all know that our elections has been drawn closer due to the court ruling which mandated the Enugu State Electoral Commission to proceed and conduct Enugu State Local Government Elections within the next 21 days in September 2024. To this order, we were obliged to begin engaging our people to enable us meet up with the unfolding event by our competent court, as well as the newly adjusted timetable and guidelines by the state electoral umpire.
On this note, we had today, inaugurated our central campaign council, led by the Director General, Hon Chinkwunonye Okereke, and the aforementioned persons who are chairing the two established structures of our campaign.

Historically briefing, Ndeabor is among the five towns that make up Aninri Local Government Area created during the military regime in Nigeria since 1996 with its headquarters situated at Ndeabor, an ancient community with prominent kings,rulers, professionals in different fields, blessed with arable land,market, reasonable population, but suffers wanton marginalization, unprecedented political hardship, discrimination, and outright partiality in equal inclusiveness in the leadership of Aninri Local Government Area Council since it’s inception/creation.
While fielding questions, the people of the community, a renowned indigene and community leader who prefers anonymity cries out for marginalization because of sidelining their people in the political schemes in Aninri since it’s inception of democracy they have not been allowed to produce any elective person in political offices such as the Senate, House of Rep, State House Of Assembly, Chairman of the Local Government Area council etc.
Indeed, the afore mentioned verifiable ugly situation has been pathetic and calls for

To the almighty supreme God above the universe we say thank you haven brought us this far to the completion of a successful administration we give you all the glory.
Like a monster seed we started this administration and today we have done so well in transforming Aninri to what it’s today. On 3rd March, 2022, I honorable Bennetth Ajah and my deputy were sworn-in to be at the helm of affairs of Aninri Local Government Council by the immediate past Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, based on the mandate you overwhelmingly gave us.
We took over the mantle of leadership from the administration of Honorable Ezekiel Chukwu which preceded and handed over to us on the 4th of March, 2022. Today, the 4rd of March, 2024 marks the completion of our Two years in Office.
On behalf of our team, I want to use this opportunity to specially thank Ndi Aninri, our leaders, our super and wonderful stakeholders, PDP party faithfuls, traditional rulers and their cabinet members, Presidents-General of Town Unions, NULGE, religious leaders, women and youths, security agencies and well wishers. For their support and prayers throughout our stay in office especially the period when the house of assembly, house of reps, and senate elections were held, there collaboration helped us to achieve the things we were able to do over these two years. For some of the reports of our projects and programmes we were able to archive so far, these projects and programmes cut across security interventions, infrastructure, education, human empowerment and poverty alleviation programmes, health programmes and agricultural programmes, among others.
We thank the Leader and Members of the Aninri Legislative Council for their superb cooperation, which ensured smooth administration at our Council.
We thank our wonderful team that worked with passion and dedication for the progress and development of Aninri.
I thank our amiable and visionary Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for his ongoing infrastructural activities such as road constructions, Smart Schools and primary health care projects, and agricultural projects that would tackle insecurity and birth economy prosperity in enugu state. His leadership style afforded us the conducive atmosphere to achieve the much we could within his short period in Office. Aninri is no doubt on the path of transformation from a rural to a semi-urban council.
We believe we fought the good fight, we finished the race strong, and we have kept the faith, giving our best possible for prosperity of Aninri within the limits of our lean resources amidst unabated security challenges. We, therefore believe that posterity will judge us fairly.
Overall, Ndi Aninri, rest assured that our future is bright with the ground work that we have laid and the partnership with Governor Peter Mbah administration.

It was a thunderous joy for Aninri farmers as they applaud honorable Bennett Ajah the executive chairman of Aninri over the distribution of solar powered water pumping machine for dry season rice planting, describing the workaholic chairman as the maziah of our time.
In the early hours of today as of the time of this report, the executive chairman of Aninri local government area honorable Benneth Ajah and the commissioner for agriculture enugu state distributed to Aninri Farmers a solar powered water pumping machine for the dry season rice planting to ease in tackling the scarcity of water supply in there various farms. The chairman also encouraged the farmers to improve in the productivity of farm produce to tackle the scarcity of food in the land.
Indeed Benneth Ajah is an elite leader with enviable, modest and impeccable character and passion to build Aninri and positively impact lives. He is a political genius with rare leadership dexterity, charisma and acumen for nation building.

Enugu State Internal Revenue Service led by the Executive Chairman, Enugu State Internal Revenue Service Mr. Emmanuel Ekene Nnamani visited Aninri LGA for briefing on the new tax system in the state.
The Chairman State revenue, while addressing Ndi Aninri, said the interactive meeting was for the executive chairman, Traditional Rulers, President Generals, Councillors, Supervisors, and other concerned stakeholders in the council area for proper understand of the new State tax systems, pleaded for their support to achieve the aim of these tax system. He urge them to convey the message of the State Internal Revenue to their various communities for easy implementation.
He further stated that the state was aware of multiple taxations pepetuated by community, LGA, and State in our various markets and shops but the state government has unified the tax system under one payment to cover the whole cost of tax either daily, monthly or yearly basis. He maintained that compliance is important and may not like the government to enforce it, urge the people of Aninri to willingly embrace the innovation.
Therefore, its necessary for the local government and stakeholders to be aware and align with the new State tax system for smooth revenue generation.
The tax boss, reiterated His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s commitment in given Enugu State a facelift to enviable height, said the administration should be appraised after 4 years, he assured of accountability and maximum utilization of the money generated with tangible projects. The Executive Chairman of Aninri local government came into office with high hopes to fix the council area that was turned as a political settlement and cash cow for a set of political cabals.

No chairman, in the history of Aninri democracy has stepped away with his work complete, campaign promises fulfilled, nor without some baggage left behind for his predecessor, but honorable Ajah Benneth the executive chairman of Aninri local government has break that jinx for good.
Ajah Benneth was unarguably, the only chairman in Aninri whose victory was predictable in the last LG election. While his counterparts struggled with identity crisis, he trudged on confidently, mainly on account of his shining vista of accomplishments.
Without a speck of doubt, Ajah Benneth has justifiably stamped himself as one of the poster boys of good governance in the current dispensation. And his rich developmental track records have consistently won him bipartisan praise, a phenomenon rarely seen in Enugu state.
Ajah Benneth has immensely invested in humanity through innumerable intervention projects in education there by constructing and renovating primary school walls across Aninri and recruited over 158 council teachers.
In the health sector he put a benchmark across to all the health facilities in Aninri to report whatever maybe the challenges they’re facing, one of which was the health center in Okpanku which was never functioning for over tens years, he reinstated it and equipped it with modern medical equipments and employed over forty medical workers, leaving no table unturned in making sure the health center start functioning the (OIC) in charge one Mr hygeniuse okorie was sacked over irregularities which many stolen equipments and other things were recovered from him.
In agriculture honorable Bennett Ajah has set a pace which other local government chairmen are following. He has empowered several farmers individually and in groups one of which was the Cassava-Bio Ethanol production industry situated at uhuezoke in Okpanku which he handed the ownership to Aninri Farmers.
In the security sector honorable Bennett Ogbonnaya Ajah has brought hope to the security of life and property by mounting military base within and across the borderlands of Aninri. The administration of Chief Bennett Ajah (Nnayelugo Aninri) swung into aggressive action to halt the hydraheaded monster dubbed insecurity by mounting full military check points, sophisticated access control measures, and recruitment and training of Aninri neighbourhood watch among other covet measures to deter miscreants and vandals.
Our electricity is not left behind honorable Bennett Ajah has invested heavily in repairing and replacing many vandalized, looted Transformers. Today we now have electricity in Aninri which many communities such as Ameke, Okpanku enjoys etc. He also extended his Midas touch in the humanitarian services and how the embarrassingly knotty issue of underdevelopment had been dealt a fatal punch just within space of his tenure. But perhaps, the most glaring achievement was youth empowerment and inclusiveness in his regime. Aninri became the local government that pioneered massive engagement of youths in governance in enugu’s political topography, with the inauguration of many new sets of Special Assistants, tagged, ‘Technical Assistants’ senior special assistant, etc
The interesting things in these appointments are that the list was dripping with names of unemployed youths.
Meanwhile, the regime of projects and road construction continued unabated. Unsurprisingly, as a workaholic he’s, Ajah Benneth placed infrastructure at the centre of the development matrix. The chairman envisaged a prosperous Aninri local government that is now easily accessible, open to foreigners and enuguian’s to pursue their potentials; a safe and clean environment.

Aninri Mayor Hon.Chief Bennett Ajah Introduced State Wash Programme In Aninri To Improve Environmental Sanitation
The executive chairman of Aninri Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Benneth Ajah,briefed Aninri on the state government’s WASH programme and urged them to embrace the exercise for the good health of our people.
This policy of the state will have positive bearing in the living condition of our people, expressed his concern and interest in implementing the policy with immediate effect.
Therefore, Ajah urged the stakeholders to embrace the innovative agenda of the new millennium governor of Enugu State Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and described their absolute confidence in his administration as helpful in charting the way forward for the common good of our people and assured he will never take it for granted because their contributions has positive impact to the administration accomplishments.
Ajah, maintained that the state government’s WASH policy is in the best interest of our health, warned against open defecation in our rural communities. He added that good sanitation reduces the possibility of contacting harmful diseases in the public places like schools, health centers,offices, markets etc
However, the mayor in achieving this goal, have resolved to build functional toilets in our primary schools and urged individuals to partner by investing in the trending health precautionary measure, said government will encourages such a company or individual, especially erecting such toilet facilities in the market and should notify the council in writing for necessary memorandum of understanding.
The stakeholders in their separate acceptance speeches welcome the policy against open defecation and pledged their support in their communities.
Furthermore, the council boss informed the people that his administration’s intervention in schools renovation and construction are still in progres and has taken some request from Igwes, as he assured of fixing more schools even if making a personal sacrifice.
To this end, the campaign for the prohibition of open defecation law have been kicked off and the local government legislative arm ably led by the leader Hon. Igwe Philip Ikechukwu during their session, adopted and approved the immediate commencement of the programme as stakeholders pledge to make land available in their community schools for the purpose.

On the 6th of February, 2024. The Executive Chairman of Aninti Local Government Hon, Benneth Ajah visited Ameke Health Center, to meet with Mrs Emeka Nkemdirim to get first hand insight into her poor treatment by the staff of the health center during birth and all the attending incidents.
The Executive Chairman arrived at the health center with his team and inspected the health facilities, meeting with the OYC Mrs Ekpete Ifeoma Edith. While addressing the health workers the council boss expressed sadness about the ugly incident, described it as utter negligence amd dereliction of duty. He assured of necessary action.
The chairman further decried the so obvious systemic rot that has pervaded the health sector in Enugu especially primary health sub-sector. He expressed disappointment in the attitude of our people especially some of our health workers, and regrettably, people are covering or politicizing some of this decay in the system. He noted that although he met this decay in the system but was determined to fix them and that has influenced his zero tolerance for ghost workforce and nonchalance in the sector under his watch.
Hon, Benneth referenced Ekoli people who had a similar health center challenge but communicated his office and the issues were addressed to satisfaction. This is a testament to open-door administration he has maintained, and will always welcome reports targeting to address some of these challenges.
The mayor, therefore, appealed to the woman, assured her and the community of his government’s intervention to address the challenges the health center is facing, and also thanked God for safe delivery of the beautiful twin. The Chairman in his usual show of heart and love also gave financial assistance to enable Mrs Nkemdirim to pay some of their bills, and make a measure of livelihood, whilst promising to be there for them.

Aninri Mayor Faces Challenges For Refusal To Share Public Funds To Looter’s, Instead He Opt To Work For The Masses
It is not only in the animal kingdom that predators exist; they also exist in political kingdom where they exhibit unrestrained predatory animalism. Is anyone in doubt of this human animalistic idiosyncrasies? Well, Aristotle captures the scenario succinctly in his summary description of the nature of man; “man is by nature a political animal”- Aristotle(382-322 BC).
One hard truth about Aninri politics is that most of our political elites often look forward to money sharing as they support candidates’ for political positions. They may not voice it, but at the back of their minds, the sharing of money after elections had been won and lost and power acquired and consolidated, hangs rapaciously like the gluttony of a goat.
It is unfortunate as it is heart-rending that these predatorial political elites do not care about the masses. As far as they are concerned, the proletariat can go to blazes because their egocentric interest is simple; so long as aninri local government financial allocations keep coming to a round table for sharing, they don’t give a hoot whether our dear local government is developed or not and whether the masses were empowered or not. Their own is to feather their selfish nests in all directions at the expense of our local government and the people as they regularly smile ostentatiously to the bank, while the people suffer abject penury. Chief Gani Faweihinmi describes them metaphorically as political predators. In Aninri our the incumbent administration is their greatest albatross!
Since the chairman’s frugal and prudent methodology in the management of our local government resources had not emasculated their greedy hands and blocked the conduits through which others equally siphoned our exchequer, our collective patrimony would have been aggressively and irredeemably raped to stupor and Aninri would have still remained irretrievably in the denigrating and derisive doldrums of primitivity, wearing the opprobrious epithet, “Dust of the state”.
If the chairman had thrown our patrimony open to their whims, they would be hailing him, but after power they will be blaming him for sharing money that could have been used to develop the local government regardless of the fact that they were the beneficiaries. So, it is the best thing for our chairman to be castigated, cajoled and maligned on social media by political predators and their crumb eaters for not sharing our local government allocations among them now that he is in power than to share the allocations and be pilloried after power for not developing the council by the same people who see him from their avaricious prisms as a left-wing ideologue.
Our chairman is the greatest albatross of these political predators who inhabit our political ecosystem, eating up the vegetables of our development in the past. Today, they are not hiding the fact that they are not happy, but what is the justification for their anger with the chairman’s uncompromising stance against heist of whatever guise? Even when they equally savour the infrastructural bliss of the chairman, they still want the allocations raw like the sacrificial meat; demanded raw by Hophni and Phinehas in the Holy Writ. It’s a sin against God.
Leader like Cee Menia’s breed, considers viable options to checkmate the pillaging of our local government resources are called “stingy” and opposed by malevolent capitalists who desire to keep getting richer while the poor remain more poor in their adversaries. Weighed down by the burden of frustration, having failed to get the chairman to “share the common patrimony” in his administration, these political predators have resorted to spewing concocted stories and malicious falsehood about Chief Ajah Bennett’s administration.
Ironically, the more these bad elements and political predators attempt to rubbish our chairman with worthless allegations and unfounded propaganda, based on fallacious tendencies, the more they portray him to the world as a powerful leader who is born of impartiality, to resist any attempt of selfish centrifugal forces.
Would I asked; that most of Ndi Aninri, especially the politicians, plays opposition politics mainly when they are disgruntled and driven by greed and selfishness? Cases abound and justified anyway because politics is a game of interests. But then, these interests become personalised when political predators believe that, their oligarchy interests should supersedes that of the masses. It’s a sin against democracy! More so, this is the difference between supporting our chairman based on masses’ interests rather than on personal individualized, egocentric and the egoistic greedy interests of political predators.
For the records and in case these political predators do not know; He is the type of leader our Governor desires to succeed him because he too is aggressively averse to the sharing of our state wealth to please the insatiable appetite of “iron law oligarchy.” One remarkable thing about such leaders too is that the more political predators sponsor image damaging writings against them in the media, the more they win elections. This equally explains why they sweep the polls and coast home to victory in every elections.

The administration of honorable chief Bennett Ajah (Cee Mania) the executive chairman of Aninri local government area of Enugu state should not be overemphasized as he have done more than what his predecessors were unable to achieve in various sectors.
Upon his swearing in as the executive chairman of Aninri he put a benchmark across to all the health facilities in Aninri to report whatever maybe the challenges they’re facing, one of which was the health center in Okpanku which was never functioning for over tens years, he reinstated it and equipped it with modern medical equipments and employed over forty medical workers, leaving no table unturned in making sure the health center start functioning the (OIC) in charge one Mr hygenuise okorie was sacked over irregularities which many stolen equipments and other things were recovered from him.
This is an example of how a good leader does in rendering selfless service not minding who is involved just to make sure the will of the masses prevail.
In the security sector honorable Bennett Ogbonnaya Ajah has brought hope to the security of life and property by mounting military base within and across the borderlands of Aninri.
Recall that in the recent past, all parts of Aninri communities were hotbed for the operation of criminals and habitual vandals. The panicky situation directly and indirectly scared off our great sons and daughters from coming home to relax, attend functions or engage in their personal projects and businesses. They were confronted with the phobia of the unknown and it’s traumatic consequences.
The administration of Chief Bennett Ajah (Nnanyelugo Aninri) swung into aggressive action to halt the hydraheaded monster dubbed insecurity by mounting full military check points, sophisticated access control measures, and recruitment and training of Aninri neighbourhood watch among other covet measures to deter miscreants and vandals.
His genuine ambitions are to checkmate crime, give a sense of heightened awareness, build quick response team to handle security issues thereby create a safer habitation, safer business environment and promote order and peace of mind for our people .

In demonstrating his unconditional love to Ndi Aninri, the philanthropist Chairman, Chief Ajah further recruited more professionally trained gallant sons and daughters of Aninri into the Neighborhood watch and standardized their operations despite the high daunting logistical challenges, to swiftly respond efficiently in security matters in our villages and communities, to stop harm, maintain order and reduce crimes.

Aninri Mayor Mourns With Hon. Engr Okoro Emmanuel As He Buries Late Mum
The executive chairman of Aninri Local Government Area Chief Hon Sir Benneth Ajah attended the befitting burial of the mother of Hon.Engr.Okoro Emmanuel, the Senior Legislative Aide to the senator representing Enugu West.
The burial ceremony was a moment of grief to the bereaved family and the chairman Hon.Benneth Aja expressed his sympathy to the entire Chief Ferdinand Okoro (Okito) family and assured them that his prayers goes to them, praying for the repose of the soul of their late mother Mrs Uzoigwe Rebecca Mgborie (Nne-Ora)
In his brief condolence message to Hon Engr. Emmanuel Aja,the mayor said, although we are saddened over her death but we are very happy to be part of her good journey here on it.The much we have heard and seen about her, have brought consolation to us and we pray for the repose of her gentle soul.
The burial was a huge success as Nigerians from all walks of life graced the occasion.

Aninri Farmers Take Ownership Of The Cassava-Bio Ethanol Farm
The Executive Chairman of the Aninri local government area, Hon, Chief Benneth Ajah lead different farmers groups in Aninri to supervise the ongoing cassava-ethanol production industry at Uhuezeoke Okpanku Aninri Local Government.
The council Chairman who was physically happy thanked the Executive Governor of Enugu State Barr, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his good will and kind consideration in sitting the cassava ethanol industry in Aninri despite the pressure from other local governments to take it, God we reward our dear governor, the council boss maintained that the farm is for Aninri and Enugu west in general urge people to be path of the programmes, and we should accommodate one another.
The council boss insisted that leaders are tired and want to do things in the right way, The Chairman said he doesn’t share money because he promised ndi Aninri to work with their money and part of the money is what they are witnessing on the farm. We have covered about 300 hectares and still going further, though is not an easy task but we are committed to this project.
The mayor also announced that His Excellency Governor Peter Mbah has awarded the road leading to the farm, urge Ndi Aninri to take full advantages of the opportunity because what we have started in Aninri is not common, investors are coming and it will out leave us.
Hon, Benneth, therefore, seized the opportunity to thank his team, Deputy Mayor Hon, Okechukwu Njokuti, Councillors led by Hon, Philip Igwe and other key stakeholders in Aninri for their support, and also expressed happiness that during the Christmas and New Year celebration Aninri record little or no insecurity issues a clear example that the administration security strategies are working and will be sustained for the benefit of all because we will not allow criminals to destroy our place, also appeal to villagers to take ownership and secure government properties in there areas including electricity transformers.
The council boss announced that the electricity has been repaired and connected to the high tension wire, Mpu, and Okpanku will soon have light like other communities in Aninri.
The representative of FADAMA Mr Godwin Owusi said he is present for a follow-up to what he has already explained to the groups or cooperatives, reiterated that government, internationals partners and multinational companies have seen that Agriculture is an alternative way to an economic boom in the future and are committing there resources in it, maintained that what Aninri will see in the shortest period of time will marvel them and the government is equally looking for a way to get back the money they invested.
The secretary of the local government Hon Ukpabi Gabriel clarified documentations issues explaining in detail the requirements needed to be path of the programme and urged the groups to comply with all seriousness for onward process.

The grading of Ivo Okpanku Dam road is in continuation of developmental initiative of Chief Benneth Ajah administration in Aninri local government area,the intervention on infrastructure is the best way to develop, reduce crime and make historic imprint in Aninri.
This Aninri Dam road grading is in line with His Excellency Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s infrastructural master plan, electricity and agricultural agenda for Enugu State to give the people the desired dividend of good governance.
The chairman who is committed in driving projects that will be of greater economic gain to Ndi Aninri said he is happy for the federal and state government’s collective attention to the project, noting that Ivo Okpanku Dam on completion, will be of great benefit to his people, Enugu State and Nigeria in general, that the grading of the road is to have good and easy access to the Dam and our farmers will equally move around their farm products without obstructions.

2024 is a year of fulfillment for all leveraging on the success we made in 2023, I am grateful to God who saw us through in difficult times, though we also recorded tremendous victories as a people, the tough decisions we took to fix our institutions and have tangible assets that place us as one of the best and well secured local government in Enugu State.

Restoration Of Electricity In Aninri Continues, As Contracted Engineers Covers Mpu And Okpanku.
The Executive chairman of Aninri Local government Area Hon. Benneth Ajah through his Works Supervisor Rt. Hon Victor Chidiebere led a team of engineers to supervise some of the transformers at Mpu and Okpanku to ascertain the levels of damages done on them by vandals.
Hon. Victor said the Ndeabor light issue was almost completed and the chairman was unrelenting in fixing the Obuagu, Amaeze, Amagu, Amaogudu, Okpu, Amabiriba, Ihuibe, and Orie Mpu transformers as the replacement of cables progresses as the issue of Aninri light restoration this yuletide season top his priority.
Expressing displeasure on the state of the light equipment, Engr. Mathew Monday Ordu was displeased by the level of damages done to some of the transformers by vandals and described the chairman as a good leader who has the political will and cares about the comfort of his people by embarking on such capital intensive project showing deep commitment to fixing the light because huge progress has been made and sooner the whole Aninri will enjoy light.
The Engr disclosed to the villagers who came during the inspection to thank the chairman for the kind of good person he is and advised them to cut down trees covering the cables and clear the bushes around the transformer to avoid obstructions since work is starting immediately.
Engr Monday said he will meet the Chairman immediately with his findings because it varies with the initial one, though believes Aninri’s electricity is 70% ready to be permanently restored.
The supervisor urge ndi Aninri to be very hopeful that soonest darkness will be the thing of the past in Aninri.

The well-organized, hands-on, and interactive training saw the presence of facilitators from the Enugu SME center led by Mr. Obinna Anozie the training started with a briefing from the Secretary of Aninri local government, Hon, Gabriel Ukpabi, and gradually moved to stages as scheduled.
Hon, Gabriel Ukpabi who represented the Executive Chairman of Aninri Chief Benneth Ajah said the selected persons across the 10 wards are among our best and tech savvy citizens, and believe they will not fail Aninrians, he charged them to be at their best, take the assignment very seriously and should not shortchange our people while in the field, the local government Chairman Hon, Benneth Ajah has made available all the necessary logistics to enable us realize the aim behind the program.
The council boss maintained the programme is the Governor of Enugu State His Excellency Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s initiative to capture all the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in our localities for State, Federal, Donors, and World Bank grants and other Economic policies and gains in our area.
The council Chairman further said the data collection is important and the information gathered will be used for vital decision-making going forward. He reiterated his commitment towards His Excellency Barr, Peter Mbah’s economic agenda in the State, God has blessed Enugu State with a leader with vision and clarity on how to achieve that and give a permanent solution to our problems.
Mr, Obinna Anozie from SME Centre Enugu said he is very happy the trainees are teachable and that makes their work very easy. He urged them to put in their best and pursue excellence while discharging their duties and they should utilize the skills acquired for future purposes.

Aninri Local government has been in total black out over the years, before the emergence of the present administration, as a result of the activities of criminals who vandalized electricity installations.
The Executive Chairman bemoaned that the lack of power in the local government is saddening and further lamented that the development has killed the socio-economic life of the people.

With the recent report on the alleged brutality and dehumanization of the national president, Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, comrade Joe Ajaero, the Socio Economic Rights and Accountability Project SERAP, implored president Bola Tinubu’s government to identify arrest and punish those responsible for the arrest. Earlier, some media houses reported that comrade Ajaero was arrested by the police in Owerri, the Imo state capital while organizing a rally to protest against stalled wage payment for workers in the state. THE GATHERING OF THE VULTURES AND MOLES IN PDP ENUGU STATE
SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT BY UNVEILING WHO THEY REALLY ARE;
Few weeks ago, a certain group claiming to represent PDP embarked on a tour tagged “message of hope”, but looking at those involved, one will wonder if it is hope for their selfish interest or hope for their new found party (Labour Party) or hope for who?
We are not unaware of how unhappy this particular group has been with PDP Aninri and that of Enugu State since they lost their anointed candidate for Aninri Chairmanship election in 2022. This led to some party executives loyal to them overnight becoming disloyal, disobedient, tyrannical and openly attacking and bullying the party, the Local government party Chairman, Victor Okoro and the Mayor of Aninri local government, Chief Benneth Ajah. This act of insubordination and insurrections attracted the punishment of withholding their salaries as directed by the top echelon of the party.
After the PDP primaries for 2023 general elections, they began to engage openly in anti-party activities having noticed that their preferred candidate who they are loyal to had lost the election and this necessitated their subsequent suspension.
The entire group had deals with labour party candidates to work for them against all the PDP candidates throughout the 2023 general elections.These acts of sabotage made PDP’s usual landslide victory almost a nightmare in Aninri.
They even celebrated the defeat of some PDP candidates and the emergence of Labour Party candidates, but today, they are befuddled as God keeps using the foolish and unseeming things of this world to confound their wisdom.
It was never a mistake that the name of a former PDP federal law maker representing greater Awgu appeared as a labour party candidate.
For example, the woman leader of PDP Aninri local government whose picture appeared in those group photographs during their recent kangaroo tour, was caught singing for Edeoga on his campaign ground in Mpu, the same day Hon. Magnus Edeh had his campaign in Okpanku.
What about the campaign materials given to one of them by Senator Osita Ngwu for distribution at Oduma community but he hoarded it till after elections with the sole aim of sabotaging Sen Osita Ngwu.
We cannot also forget how they collected money from Senator Osita Ngwu and refused to organize his campaign event slated to hold in Mpu on that faithful day.
Despite all the very many offences and wicked antics, the PDP candidates that emerged victorious still chose to embraced all and seeking a better society working together.
These detractors are evolving a mantra of hope. The question is, hope for who, labour party? Everything that played out was very clear to everyone and It is totally deceitful and a complete fallacy to suggest that anybody is victimizing any PDP executive in Aninri for no offence.
Even the attacks on the activities of Aninri Chairman and his government seeing on social media these have been traced to these gutless Neanderthals.
Ndi Aninri, must not be deceived by the public show of these treacherous people because they have gained massively from the party and the LGA over donkey years, now that a new sheriff is in town to make things work better, they become libellous and disloyal to the party.
Chief Benneth Ajah and Governor Peter Mbah led administration are for development and will never condone distractions of any kind from any group. We therefore ask these sons and daughters of Aninri to sheath their swords, join hands with the chairman to build the Aninri of future positive reference
SECURITY IN ANINRI, THE MIDAS TOUCH OF A TRUE LEADER

Alas! Hon chief sir Bennett Ogbonnaya Ajah has brought hope to the security of life and property by mounting military base within and across the borderlands of Aninri.
Recall that in the recent past, all parts of Aninri communities were hotbed for the operation of criminals and habitual vandals. The panicky situation directly and indirectly scared off our great sons and daughters from coming home to relax, attend functions or engage in their personal projects and businesses. They were confronted with the phobia of the unknown and it’s traumatic consequences.
The administration of Chief Bennett Ajah (Nnanyelugo Aninri) swung into aggressive action to halt the hydraheaded monster dubbed insecurity by mounting full military check points, sophisticated access control measures, and recruitment and training of Aninri neighbourhood watch among other covet measures to deter miscreants and vandals.
His genuine ambitions are to checkmate crime, give a sense of heightened awareness, build quick response team to handle security issues thereby create a safer habitation, safer business environment and promote order and peace of mind for our people .
Worthy of note is that all the entrance and exit points in Nenwe, Oduma, Okpanku, Mpu and Ndeabor are under strict security surveillance for our people to freely go about their daily businesses, farmlands, work places and other public places including travelling on our roads without panic etc.
In demonstrating his unconditional love to Ndi Aninri, the philanthropist Chairman, Chief Ajah further recruited more professionally trained gallant sons and daughters of Aninri into the Neighborhood watch and standardized their operations despite the high daunting logistical challenges, to swiftly respond efficiently in security matters in our villages and communities, to stop harm, maintain order and reduce crimes.
In accomplishing his lofty dreams in security, he fostered closer engagements with other sister security agencies who are taking cover in Aninri villages and communities to track down these hoodlums

“The chairmen have already submitted projects, but those projects will have priorities in their selection. What the Economic Planning Commission Executive Chairman and his team are doing right now is to look at the projects, especially projects like road projects, educational projects, security projects, and the things that align to the state economic growth targets.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the Enugu State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Edeh said the funding partnership would trigger multiple capital development projects across Enugu State.
“The essence of it is that we must embark on projects that the state government will be proud of and the rural people will benefit well from”, the ALGON Chairman stated.
On his part, the Commissioner for Agriculture, Patrick Ubru, said the government was working hard at de-resking land acquisition for agriculture by building 300,000-agricultural land banks across the 17 local government areas.
“What it means is that after that is done, we will now have specific places where we do our farming and in line with our desired crops in terms of the comparative advantages of each local government. And we also have lands for our forests reserves because that we are farming does not mean we are going to cut down the trees everywhere.
“The essence of the land banks is to help the state government de-risk the risk associated with land acquisition and encourage investors to come into the state and invest in agriculture.
“Meanwhile, a whole lot of that will be done. We have made significant progress in our cassava-to-ethanol value chain programme within this short period.👍We have cultivated over 100 hecters of cassava and soya in Aninri👌over 50 hecters in Uzo Uwani and 60 hecters in Nkanu East”, he said.
