This is why His Excellency, DR ifeanyi ugwuanyi has concentrated on the infrastructural needs of Enugu State, knowing fully well the importance of infrastructure as the fulcrum of any meaningful development of the society. The revolution in infrastructure of Enugu State is quite unprecedented and record breaking.
This is why the Governor commands respect and loyalty not only in the South East but across the country. As his State is excellently organized to be the best among equals.
A visit to Enugu State reveals the Governor’s love for aesthetic environment and surrounding. The network of roads in the State metropolis is smoothly done to give the road users the best driving experience. The dualization of major roads in the State capital and subsequent planting of flowers with streetlights to match is a beauty to behold.
Looking at the strategic and well planned flyovers across the major junctions in the state metropolis is rarely found anywhere in the country. The flyovers are decorated and adorned with art works and streetlights to match. This is as result of the engineering prowess of His Excellency Dr ifeanyi ugwuanyi, Under the flyovers are water fountains that make the flyovers a good environment to rest and take pictures by residents and visitors alike.
The construction of magnificent structures like the New Digital Ecumenical Center, Market, Water fountains and International Stadium is second to none anywhere in the country. These has gained accolades to the Governor who has relentlessly delivered on his mandate. This is why the Governor commands unusual admiration not only in the South East but across the country.
The Governor has performed optimally beyond expectations as a result of his Midas touch on the meagre resources accruing to the State. The question in the mouth of everyone is how is His Excellency is getting so much done with so little fund. That is why we are asking him to come out and do the same thing in the country as President come 2023. His Excellency is really the Pride of the South East and Nigeria in general.
