Yesterday was a day religiously reserve as a holy meeting day among the PDP Faithfuls in Enugu State. It is holy among the party people that even the smallest members do not hold any important personal activities. But, someone who would want to sell himself as a party man and the symbol of pdp in the State, not knowing that he had been a slimy green snake under a green grass, was licking his treacherous tongues while the children played. The so called Prof Ike Ekweremadu of the Ike is coming fame was caught red handed in his devious, clandestine shameful activity against PDP culture.
Surprisingly, instead of this Nicodemus who have recruited publicly known and privately unknown armies against our People loving Governor to at least attend his local government Stakeholders meeting, he was caught pants down hobnobbing around the protocol Officers of the government house for a chance to see Gburugburu. Oga Gburus, being a good man granted him audience as a peaceful Man and lo and behold Ikeoha was there to plead for a soft landing. He cried and begged yet again for the Governor to forgive him and allow him to return to the Senate. He even tried a failed bargain for the Governor to allow him singlehandedly pick a Senator to replace him. The most Surprising thing is that he went there without any of his vuvuzela followers. Funny enough, the Oguerinwa who is so desperate to even harm his brothers for this Senate office wasn’t even the Ikeoha choice. Ikeoha is running from pillar to post right now and I feel its necessary for the many people he deceived to know that the Enugu West strongman is now a shameless crybaby. We have to put this power monger where he belongs if Enugu PDP is to know peace and progress. Gburus must be supported by men of good conscience to retire this merciless and wicked politician.
IKEOHA should not be afraid if retirement because he has retired many.
The member representing Aninri/Awgu/oji river in the federal house of Representatives is a mercurial and slimy political purveyor who has always been smart by half.
He has consistently pretended to be an acolyte of His Excellency Rt Hon ifeanyi ugwuanyi but his actions and attitudes towards the programs and policies of this government leaves a lot to be desired.
He happens to.be the sole benefactor of his representation to ndi Awgu at the green Chambers for a period of 3 terms and the people has given him the red card in this coming elections for him to apply all his knowledge in other sector of the economy for the betterment of humanity but he is hell bent on going back to the Green Chambers through the back door.
This backdoor strategy is the meeting he has called the delegates at his country home -Ugbo today Sunday the 15th day of 2022.
Its unfortunate that Toby will propel people to go to court challenging the validity and authenticity of the 3 man ad hoc delegates accepted and approved by the PDP while he is about going through the backdoor to conduct a pre recorded PDP party primaries with some persons that he will eventually claim that they voted for him in the primary election for the House of Representatives. This a typical show of disloyalty to the party and the PDP government in Enugu.
Recall that Toby deployed a similar strategy against the agreement of PDP at the House of Representatives which led to his election as the Dep minority leader of the House of Representatives against the agreed arrangements by the PDP . This untoward action led to his suspension by the party. He is at it again and all the PDP statutory delegates and 3 man delegates should be wary and steer clear from.this loading Ugbo kangaroo PDP primaries he is intending to conduct in his country home ugbo today.
I advise that all the PDP party chairmen under the leadership of Gov ifeanyi ugwuanyi should advise their delegates not to be found anywhere around ugbo because it’s a deliberate act of sabotage against the leader of the party and an insurbordination of the highest proportion by a man who blows hot and cold.
The council chairmen should equally advise their 3 man Delegates too to run away from this poisoned chalice of a kangaroo primaries on a Sunday afternoon.
His plans are to get a pre recorded video as an evidence of a primary election stipulated to be conducted within the week . Rt Hon Toby okechukwu has never meant well for our party both at the local.and national levels and he has been deeply intransigent of the authority of our leader gburugburu.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday ordered all members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) running for elective offices to submit their letters of resignation.
This, the president did, in trying to ensure that members of his cabinet abide by the tenets of the constitution.
According to Section 84(12) of Nigeria’s Electoral Act 2022, no political appointee at any level shall be a voting delegate or be voted for at the Convention or Congress of any political party for the purpose of the nomination of candidates for any election.
Bearing this in mind, President Buhari directed that FEC members with political ambitions must submit their resignation letters on or before Monday the 16th of May, 2022.
Based on their political declarations, here are those who are directly affected by the president’s latest directive:

The powerful AGF recently declared for the Kebbi governorship seat. However, if this ambition is to come to fruition, then he will have to swiftly see to the legal nullification of the clause in Section 84 (12) or otherwise tender his resignation.

It was a thunderous joy to the people of Aninri, haven free and fair credible election to elect one man national delegate and nominate one person living with disability.

The delegate Congress election which took place today at the local government secretariat ndeabo was one of it’s kind in the history of our time. It was a remarkable memory for all well meaning Aninrian’s and lovers of true democracy to witness a free and fair credible Congress election.

Enugu West Delegates yesterday, went to government house to reaffirmed their position and stand with his His Excellency, the Executive governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
The governor appreciated God for the unprecedented peace and security Enugu is enjoying under his leadership.

After the three-man delegates election held in Enugu State on the 30th of April, 2022 where it became so glaring to the five-time senator from Enugu West, Ike Ekweremadu, that his gubernatorial intention had suffered absolute setback, given that he couldn’t produce even the minutest percentage of the adhoc delegates, and his parallel adhoc delegates list turned down, he has resorted to instituting multiple lawsuits against the party that made him what he is today.
Information has it that Ekweremadu has been boasting that with the money he has, to share, he was sure of a firm grip on the Judiciary and that he was ready to purchase victory at whatever cost.
Should the Judiciary compromise and cave in to Ekweremadu’s demands is one thing but most importantly, the question that we should be asking as Ndi Enugu is how did Ekweremadu who wants to govern Enugu State acquire such plethora of wealth as a public servant? What are the sources of his funds?
The 1999 constitution has been largely taunted as the greatest danger to Nigerian democracy. Consequently, a committee was set in the National Assembly to review the 1999 constitution. The committee was headed by Senator Ike Ekweremadu as the chairman but instead of working assiduously to save Nigeria from the constitutional dilemma, the Ekweremadu-led committee embarked on an embarrassing-scale financial jamboree.
The committee withdrew N7.75 billion purportedly to amend the Nigerian constitution. The money was collected in tranches .The committee withdrew money from its account a few days before the March 28, 2015 general elections.
✓On March 2, it withdrew N83.33m.
✓The committee also withdrew the same amount 21 days later, precisely on March 23.
✓Yet, on April 13, two days after the governorship election, it withdrew another N83.33m.
✓The Ekweremadu Committee reportedly transferred the sum of N125m on April 21, 2010 to Bank PHB;
✓N250m on June 10, 2010 to Oceanic Bank;
✓N125m on a date not specified; to Oceanic Bank and

Ndi Enugu, ‘Saint’ Ike is a Tragedy That Must Not Happen
The Campaign Organization of Senator Ike Ekweremadu as part of its series of shenanigans and mischief briefed journalists today, mischievously alleging brutalization and harassment of his supporters In Enugu.
These allegations are strange. In the last 7 years, the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has maintained peace in the state. Enugu is likely the only state with no political violence since 2015. The governor is a peaceful man. If he could not resort to violence in his 2019 reelection campaigns, how possible is it that he could resort to violence now that he is not on the ballot paper for the 2023 governrorship election?
It is obvious that Senator Ekweremadu has lost out after the election of the 3-man ad-hoc delegates that will conduct the state congresses for the 2023 Enugu state governorship poll.
His plan to manipulate the process failed when the PDP National Electoral Panel described the INEC-monitored Enugu Ward Congresses as peaceful, transparent and credible, and vowed that nobody can change delegates who emerged from the exercise.
Having seen the handwriting on the wall, it is believed that the camp of Senator Ekweremadu is already jittery. Their press briefing today alleging attacks on his supporters is a signal that they may resort to violence having failed to manipulate the process in the last state ward congress election.
There has not been violence leading to the conduct of ward congresses in the state. The people should be vigilant as those who lost out and failed to manipulate the process may resort to violence and intimidation, and then accuse the government mischievously.
The campaign organization of Senator Ekweremadu, led by one Ogbo Asogwa, should rather prepare for the gubernatorial primaries of the PDP and stop creating fears and raising false and baseless alarm of attacks on his supporters.
An Enugu State High Court, on Friday, granted an order of interim
injunction restraining the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), its National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu and other named Defendants from recognizing or giving effect to any other three-man ad hoc delegate list other than the list that emerged from the congress held in all the wards in Enugu State on April 30, 2022.
The court equally restrained the PDP and other named Defendants from allowing any other three-man ad hoc delegates to participate in the PDP’s Primary Election for the selection of Governor of Enugu State, the members of the National Assembly (Senate and House of Representatives), members of the State House of Assembly and election of National Delegate Candidates in all the Constituencies in Enugu State other than the persons whose names are in the list that emerged from the 30th of April, 2022, ad hoc delegate ward congresses, supervised and duly authenticated by the five-man electoral panel set up by the National Working Committee of the PDP and already submitted and received by the Party at its National Secretariat in Abuja, pending the hearing of the Motion on Notice.
The orders will subsist until the hearing of the Motion on Notice filed on 6/5/2022 in respect of the same issue.
The court presided over by Hon Justice H.O. Eya granted the injunction following an ex parte motion filed by O. J. Uchenna Esq on behalf of the following Applicants: Prince Paul Nnaji, Tobias Ogbonna Onu, Cyril Obi Chukwu and Kevin Ikechukwu Agbo, in SUIT NO. E/379/2022.
The applicants deposed in the supporting 44-paragraph Affidavit “that a 3 man Delegate Congress had been held in Enugu State on the 30th day of April, 2022; that the Congress was monitored, supervised and duly authenticated by the five (5) man electoral panel set up by the National Working Committee of the PDP; that the list of those that emerged from the congress had already been submitted and received by the PDP at the its Head Office in Abuja; and that no other three-man Delegate Congress ought to be conducted in Enugu State or anywhere for Enugu State, having successfully concluded the one held on the 30th day of April, 2022.”
Others listed as defendants in the suit are: Hon Bature Mohammed, Hon Augustine Nnamani, Hon Innocent Ezeoha and Dr Christian Iyiani.
The motion, dated 4/5/2022 and filed on 6th day of May, 2022 was brought pursuant to Order 39 Rule 3 of the High Court Rules of Enugu State, 2020, and under the inherent jurisdiction of the Honourable Court.
Governor Ugwuanyi fired the salvo “I didnt ask anyone to buy form” during a parley with Achi Community of Oji-River Local Government Area of Enugu state, penultimate week.
Led by Traditional Rulers including His Royal Majesty, Ezeala III, Igwe (Igbudu), Top Government functionaries, Doyens of Industry and prominent sons and daughters of Achi, the protest was in reaction to the alleged claim by one of Enugu State Government’s main contractors, Omeiheukwu Engineer Anayo Onwuegbu to the effect that it was the Governor who asked him to buy the PDP House of Representatives Nomination Form.
Engineer Onwuegbu a hitherto Abuja billionaire Contractor and businessman had contested the Enugu Governorship seat every cycle since 2003. He was alleged to be a part-financier of the ill-fated impeachment attempt by the Gang of 16 Members of the Enugu State House of Assembly against then Governor Chimaroke Nnamani in 2002. Again in 2014, Onwuegbu a close ally of then Deputy Senate President Ekweremadu who, along with Rep Toby Okechukwu assisted Omeiheukwu to recover and share huge sums as debts and payments from the Federal Ministries, especially the Ecological Funds Office of Jonathan’s Presidency, teamed up with the Ikeoha in his fight-to-the-death against then incumbent Governor, Barrister Sullivan Chime, a struggle which essentially was targeted to sweep both Chime and collaterally, Chime’s nominated successor, Ugwuanyi, out of the way. Contractors know their maneuvering onions and today, here he is, back in ENSG’s contracts books!
Obviously annoyed by Omeiheukwu’s alleged serial claims that it was in fact Governor Ugwuanyi who, after informing prospective Senator Onwuegbu that “the Enugu West Senate seat will go to Udi/Ezeagu, then told me to pick the Form and go to the House of Representatives. You know that I am too big for Reps but Gburugburu is helping me through this Reps seat to position for Greater Awgu’s Governorship race in 2031”.
To this protest meeting at the Government House Enugu, Achi brought so many grievances and allegations of high handedness in the management of Oji-River politics against Omeiheukwu including the cornering of all Enugu State Government Oji-River bound patronage and appointments to his personal cronies.
In what appeared like a tumultuous revolt by major Oji-River Stakeholders, they insisted that the House of Representatives Seat should not be given to Chief Onwuegbu. They paraded Achi sons loyal to the Governor who had also bought PDP HOR Nominations Forms and pleaded with the Governor to select any of them.
In his response, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi stated that he did not ask anyone to buy Form and especially that he did not ask Omeiheukwu to buy Form. As if to underscore the truism of his assertion, Ugwuanyi called up the House of Representatives Aspirants from Achi who were present at the Meeting. He then asked each Aspirant whether he ( Ugwuanyi) had asked the Aspirant to buy Form. Each responded in the negative.
Governor Ugwuanyi disowned all the claims and rather reminded politicians “to pursue their ambitions with the fear of God”. He urged the Achi Community to go and dialogue with their brother or sister Communities in Oji-River Local Government Area and afterwards, to extend the negotiations to the other two Local Government Areas of Awgu and Aninri all of whom are co-owners of the House of Representatives Seat and to report back to him thereafter.
It is believed that another main grouse Achi Community nursed was billionaire Omeiheukwu’s alleged role in using his large finances to scuttle the 2019 Reps ambition of Achi prominent Porthacourt-based millionaire and reputable Medical Practitioner Dr. O.P.I Ibeabuchi in favour of Onwuegbu’s business partner Rep Toby Okechukwu, during a high tension political scuffle, at the 2019 PDP Party Primaries, in which another Achi son supporting Ibeabuchi, one Mr. Cajethan Obiakalusi, lost one of his eyes. It is that very same HOR seat that Engineer Onwuegbu seeks today.
Omeiheukwu fait accompli imposition as allegedly claimed by Chief Onwuegbu had been assuaged and debunked by the White Lion, both the Achi Community and the entire Oji-River LGA Stakeholders who visited the Governor immediately thereafter, same afternoon, reassured His Excellency of their unflinching and unalloyed support and pledged to stand by their Governor in his choices for all his preferred Candidates in the forthcoming 2023 General Elections.

As Journalists in Nigeria and Enugu State in particular join other journalists across the world to celebrate this year’s World Press Freedom Day, today May 3rd 2022, I comrade onyeabor chisom justice (khalifa) the chief editor, on behalf of the “COMMUNITY REPORTERS NEWS” writes to congratulate all media practitioners in Enugu State and beyond.
World Press Freedom Day is a reminder to governments of the need to respect their commitment to press freedom. It is also a day of reflection among media professionals about issues of press freedom and professional ethics. It is an opportunity to: celebrate the fundamental principles of press freedom; assess the state of press freedom throughout the world; defend the media from attacks on their independence; and pay tribute to journalists who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
This year’s World Press Freedom Day theme “Journalism under digital siege”, spotlights the multiple ways in which journalism is endangered by surveillance and digitally-mediated attacks on journalists, and the consequences of all this on public trust in digital communications.
The latest UNESCO World Trends report on Trends in the Safety of Journalists,” highlights how surveillance and hacking are compromising journalism. Surveillance can expose information gathered by journalists including from whistle-blowers, and violates the principle of source protection, which is universally considered a prerequisite for freedom of the media and is enshrined in UN Resolutions. Surveillance may also harm the safety of journalists by disclosing sensitive private information, which could be used for arbitrary judicial harassment or attack.
As we reflect on this issues, especially with regards to the safety of Journalists in Enugu State in this era of politics, I wish to call on government, political actors and security agencies to consider the welfare and security of Journalists as one of their major priorities.

The worst thing that can happen to any mortal is to be desperate. Inordinate ambition and desperation easily lead one astray, confused, beclouded and shameless. It makes one lose sense of reasoning and judgment. It is a disease that requires self-cure. It does not require any medication. This is the condition the desperate powermonger and narcissist, Senator Ike Ekweremadu has put and found himself in unknowingly. He just walked himself into the quagmire, because of his insatiable desire to capture Enugu state governorship seat in 2023 against all obvious odds. It would be recalled that it was because of Ekweremadu’s desperate quest for cheap political popularity that made him to travel to Germany for New Yam Festival at the peak of the IPOB brouhaha in Nigeria and got himself beaten to stupor by the angry IPOB apologists there, who were fed up with his poor and selfish representation in the Senate, at the detriment of the Igbos. It was that particular ugly incident that earned Ekweremadu the sobriquet-Oriji Germany (1) in Igbo Land meaning The Yam Eater In Germany One of Igboland. Unfortunately and surprisely after Ekweremadu’s humiliation and disgrace in Germany and his failure to clinch the Deputy Senate President seat again in 2019, Ekweremadu has not learnt any lesson or shed himself of political desperation. That is why after almost two decades in the Senate, Ekweremadu declared ambition for 2023 Enugu governorship seat against the conventional rotation of governorship seat in the state that favours Enugu East Senatorial zone to produce the next Governor as against Ekweremadu’s Enugu West Senatorial Zone. Having realised and seen that his vaulting ambition is crashing like packs of card and losing credibility everyday, because of its contravention of the subsisting rotation of governorship seat in Enugu, Ekweremadu has resorted to Diaspora campaign of desperation as a face-saving option. That was how and why Ekweremadu hoodwinked and compromised few Enugu indigenes in Diaspora, especially US to write and advertise open letter bereft of facts and good intentions to Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in promotion of Ekweremadu’s governorship ambition hiding under cloated altruism and patriotism. In Ekweremadu and his cohorts’ usual desperation, they put the name of President Emeritus, Enugu- USA Dr. Mrs. Ife SinaChi Ugwuonye-Okechukwu without her consent among the signatories of the sponsored open letter to Governor Ugwuanyi that was published in The Sun Newspaper. Reacting to the embarrassment the publication brought to her and the misplacement of facts in its contents, Chief/Dr./ Mrs. Ife SinaChi Ugwuonye-Okechukwu, has in a press statement dissociated herself from the publication, saying she did not give her consent to it. She regretted the ulterior motive of those behind the publication, disclosed that “I was very surprised, if not shocked at the content of the publication, and mostly about my name on it”. She added that “The content of the message does not seem to be consistent with what the Nigerian American Political Forum stands for”. Pointing out that the organisation “is non-partisan”, the Enugu USA President Emeritus stated: “I want to believe that the writer(s) did not take this fact into consideration”. Mrs.Ugwuonye-Okechukwu, who commended Gov. Ugwuanyi for his magnanimity and leadership, and advised those behind the mischievous publication that “We should continue to encourage honesty of purpose in all of our endeavors, with dignity and respect for all humans, irrespective of social or political position”. “I hope that nothing like this would repeat itself” she said while beseeching God to continue to bless Enugu State and its citizens. It is obvious that even with the public denial by one of the signatories, that her name was included in the advertised open letter without her consent, Ekweremadu and his spin doctors will not learn a lesson or feel ashamed or remorseful of their misdeeds, simply because they are desperate, blinded and confused in their bid for the governorship seat. It is time Ekweremadu and his people should know that all their bags of political gimmicks and intrigues are known and deflated ahead of the governorship primary and election in the state. They should know that Enugu people are standing solidly behind Enugu East Senatorial zone to produce Ugwuanyi’s successor in total obedience, compliance and adherence to the established rotation of governorship seat in the state that favours Enugu East Senatorial zone. They will prove that with their votes during the 2023 governorship election in Enugu State.
As we are getting closer to the date for People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primaries, Oji River local government had yesterday, the 4th of May, 2022 summoned a unity meeting pleading with other local government areas (Awgu and Aninri) to step down for the position of House of Representatives.
Ndi Aninri leaders and Stakeholders in their various speeches at the meeting said that it is the turn of Aninri local government to go for House of Representatives. That no local government should deprive Aninri of their rights to occupy the federal position for the first time in history.
Hon. Chief Benneth Ajah, Executive Chairman of Aninri local government in his speech, acknowledged that Aninri leaders of thought are saying that “Ifemelumma di mma” — “Ka Aninri Jee House of Representatives”.
Hence, the Chairman maintained that since the case is difficult for the three local governments to settle at first instance, that it would be necessary to take the matter to the father of the state, His Excellency Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, for an intervention.
He ended his speech by thanking the people of Greater Awgu Stakeholders and all the leaders of thought from the three local governments and enjoined them to continue to remain peaceful for a good and united Greater Awgu.

Of all elements of distraction, social media is fast leading by a dangerous example. But to be fair, this letter is not an argument against social media as a medium of expression and exchange of views or ideas, but the ineptitude and determination of a tiny segment of the society to substitute objective interactions for distractive subjectivism in the most gruesome, arrogant and ignorant outlook — especially those who gloat in desecrating values without courtesy to positive invention.
These retarded elements, just like their “partners-in-foul-play”, hatched from the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) — the “Agberos”, whose activities at motor parks, densely populated commercial quarters and vehicle terminals, can no longer be contained by the agencies that created them — have become the anchors of intolerance that were nursed on the laps of insanity. The offline activities of these dangerous breeds of the society have found its way into the social media in the guise of political commentators, supporters and promoters of their perceived political demi-gods.
Famed for mannerless invasions, the “social media bandits” have finally arrived at the ‘opinion terminals’ having been way-billed from the worst recesses of retrogression, to distract important discussions even before they are begun, just the same way “Agberos” harass innocent passengers before they could even onboard vehicles.
These special breeds of distraction, as ignorant, confused as moths and butterflies, neither have decorum for descent dialogue nor crave for positive knowledge — their only conviction is the illusion of amassing wealth or gaining political advantage from the prism of social media banditry and kidnapping of dissent opinion. And the question has remained — how could a “social media bandit” be relevant in social and political schemes merely by invading and kidnapping the opinion of intelligent folks whom they should rather be learning from?
See why I compare them with those religious extremists who got into the final passage through some ritual suicidism as condition to inherit seven virgins in the paradisiacal world. Incited by their pay masters just like the hardened clerics would gladly do, these legion of “social media bandits” would sit tight to their wheel chair, armed with monthly stipends; disarmed by reason and common sense; in their cognitive biases — a case of illusory superiority typical of Dunning-Kruger effects; in their effort to execute their packaged ignorance, would literally set on fire, peaceful online communities and brush aside, objective views of bright contributors while holding captive our space, for a ransome only time would pay.
I am perturbed by the proportion at which constructive opinions dissipate in the arena of important questions, due to ‘banditry invasion’ inspired by enemies of objectivism.
There seemed to be a shift of paradigm from what we know as constructive criticism. The emergence of “social media bandits” portends a great danger in the organic process of dialogue.
Nothing could be more troublesome in this regard than dealing with people who are not tolerant or open to objective views.
For those who are in the same chapter with me, our solace should be in the very understanding that real knowledge is to know the extent of one’s ignorance.

PDP Postpones LG Congresses, To Announce a New Date
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the postponement of the Party’s Local Government Congress to elect one LGA National Delegate earlier scheduled for Thursday, May 5, 2022.
A new date for the LGA Congress will be announced in due course. The NWC regrets any inconveniences the postponement may have caused.
All leaders, critical stakeholders and members of our Party across the country should please take note.

It’s of no doubt that power they say belongs to the masses to choose whoever that will represents them at any given time .
The delegate election held at oduma ward two was one of it’s kind in the history of our time. It was a remarkable memory for all odumarian’s to witness a free and fair credible election, unlike before when one man dictates and decides for us all.
The Congress election which took place at the collation centre in Amokwe primary school was embraced with high number of electorates from the four autonomous communities that made up ward two.
The local government party chairman honorable victor okoro and his executives, and the local government chairman chief Benneth aja, including all the ward party stake holders and all the ward executives, (INEC) officers and police men were fully represented to witness the congress election.
Accreditation was first carried out before the main voting processes commenced. The Total numbers of accreditated Voters was one hundred and fifteen (115).
However they were (5) contestants, but as voting commenced two out of them stepped down for other three who emerged victoriously.
The total number of vote cast was eighty-eight (88). The scores of each candidate were as follows
Chukwu Gladis scored =21
Odih Amaechi scored = 23
Aja Anayo James scored =44
Total scores =88 valid vote cast
It was a free and fair credible election as both the contestants and the electorates were fully represented.

Someone, some weeks ago, promised to take charge of the payments of all the party executives both principal and non-principal officers as long as they’re disloyal, disrespectful, abusive, lawless to the powers that be in Aninri LGA.
Disappointedly, that promise have been narrowed down just to the principal officers alone leaving the non-principal officers to their fate, barely few days to the primaries thus, throwing his earlier promise to the dustbin unapologetically. I Learnt the principal officers were the only party excos considered for his March payments. Non-principal officers how far? Lekwee enyi…lekwee uzo.
You staged a walked out on your paymaster, whom by law, you ought to respect above any other person in Aninri LGA aside God in heaven.Atleast for today, he’s incharge of the council and your payments.But instead, caution was thrown into the winds and foolishly, you gave out that respect to spite your paymaster without form of provocation. Here you’re, expecting him to come looking for you with your stipends or maybe, be safe keeping them under trust for you as who? Always remember, you can’t eat your cake and still have it.
Let the wise learn from the fate of those other party executives (non-principal officers) who were deceived, used and dumped as if they don’t exist, they were made to wage an unjust war against an Innocent man who came to deliver them. How long would our unity in diversity be given a space to flourish? How would our country men and women come together to give peace a chance for our democracy and economic prosperity? The current leadership in Nigeria today post a big threat to our common existence if nothing urgent is being done to enthrone peace and unity, good governance that will reflect the true picture of our federal character commission, national cohesion and the real sense of regional integration to enhancing our true identity as one Nigeria. To this end, I introduce to all of us a new Nigeria, a detrabilized figure, a pacesetter in peace building and a man with national acceptance ‘His Excellency, Rt. Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the executive governor of Enugu state. He is a new breed of a millennium leader that will restore the battered image of our dear nation.

In the cause of our party the PDP, making an inroad to deciding the position of her presidential flag bearer for the 2023 rescue project, the Southeast geopolitical zone should be eminently considered and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi be adopted in clean slate to lead our party to victory with a consensus bridge builder from the North as a running mate. It’s also important that I communicate to Nigerians about the administrative legendary and economic policy of the governor of Enugu state, who took over the leadership of the state in 2015 with green plans to running an all inclusive administration in Enugu. The state of Enugu has remained safe and peaceful, purposeful and sincere with her people, solely because the governor has deployed truth mechanism in running the affairs of the people with inclusion of the best international practice of human resource management. In fact, from a national data analysis, figures confirmed by the rank and file of our security architectures who on several occasions paid a visit to the people and government of Enugu state, has adjudged Enugu as the most peaceful and economic thriving state in Nigeria. This is possible, because a leader with a non partisan agenda is on the wheel of leadership. Even the opposition parties have accepted the governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s administration as the best in the history of Nigeria owing to the fact that he treats everyone with equal right and privileges.
My dear people of Nigeria, is it not a evidenced and a propelling factor that this great leader in the Southeast be supported to change our political narrative in the national and unity government when formed in 2023? It is of a fact that His Excellency, Rt Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, remains the best option for the good of the Nigerian populace, going by his antecedents in peace building, national cohesion and good governance. Our people can smile big again with him as the President of this great nation when considered that fact that since our return to democracy, and the formation of the PDP as a national party for our continued coexistence, the zone has maintained her speed with the party in all honesty and fairness. On this note therefore, justice is calling on every Nigerian to support a Southeastern presidency in 2023 for the sake of equity and fairness. Let the North East, North Central, North West and the South West, South South to come to a round table for a national discuss with a simple view that, it’s the turn of the Southeast to take a slot in the presidency of Nigeria in 2023. It is also on record that the Southeast supported a PDP President of the South West extraction in 1999 with a Vice President of the North East, it was of a fact that the zone did same to the North West in 2007 when power was returned back to the North and with a Vice president of a South South zone. Equally on current data, the the Southeast played a major role in 2010 when the country was about facing another constitutional crisis with the ailing condition of our late President of H.E Umaru Musa Yaradua to save Nigerians ‘thus the doctrine of necessity by the national assembly with a factual revelation of the health condition of the late president by the late honourable minister of Information and communication, Her Excellency, Mrs Dora Akunyili. In 2011, the Southeast overwhelming supported a South South Presidential candidate of the PDP, H.E former President Goodluck Jonathan, who later won his first presidential election in the history of a minority state like Bayealsa of about eight LGAs, taking charge of the affairs of Nigeria with a Northwest Vice President, Architecture Namadi Sambo.
What has the Southeast not done for the Nigerian people to be given equal right of place to spearhead the affairs of their own country too? Going by this history and record presented so far, it is therefore prime for a Southeastern to govern the economic and political life of this great nation and restructure the minds of our people back for our unity and common existence. And H.E, Rt. Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is the man to do this.
Let come together devoid of any parochial sentiment to rescue our country and restor our economic independence before Chinese government encroaches.
Of a fact, this great and iconic man, called Ugwunyi, is very unique in the Nigeria leadership contemporaries. Most of us still continue to wonder the source of your impressive, intimidating and uncommon projects delivery in enugu State. Your works have made you very popular and accepted to taking every political decision in the comity of our states. You have been adjudged the best performing Governor in Nigeria, with respect to Peace, rule of Law, individual liberty and above all, his imprint in the rural developments with regard to the past leaderships in Enugu.
Undoubtedly, when I say His Excellency, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is a rare gem in the economy and political strategy and human management, very uncommon and hard- working and proactively in charge of every governance situation in a generational dimension, I say so with every sense of dignity without reservation. Indeed, you are the star of the Southeast. Nobody can cover/hide a shining diamond. The turn of Ndigbo to lead Nigeria is now, and with you, we add have control the Presidency and provide a viable solution to end the political and economic problems associated with our current leadership in Nigeria.
My take, is if Gov Ugwuanyi can with the meager FAAC allocation given to the state to put down these numerous structures of a high speed, sequel to an International standard. Unarguably therefore, Gov Ugwunyi is certainly, do have the competence, capacity, credibility, knowledge, intellect, passion, technical know-how, experience, spiritual and physical rejuvenation to move Nigeria forward, to better our nation and to turn the country, again to a Giant of Africa in all ramifications.
Clearly, no state in Nigeria have since creation ever witnessed the type of far reaching massive and overwhelming development brought to bear in enugu State by Gov Ifeanyi Ugwunyi, in less than 7years in office.
His Excellency, Ifeanyi is synonymous with Development. Lawrence is synonymous with Infrastructures. Ugwuanyi is synonymous with achievements.
NIGERIA is our own, come 2023, His Excellency, Ifeanyi Ugwunyi is the answer. Let rescue Nigeria together with the divine mandate of the governor.
It has come to our notice again, that HRH Ben Eze, led his cohorts in a bid to sell Ndeaboh community for nothing. This is coming out barely few hours that the community has resolved to stand with the governor of Enugu state, His Excellency, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, and the good people of Enugu state over the gubernatorial election in the state.
Recall that Ndeaboh is one of the five communities that birthed Aninri LGA creation since 26years ago, and has remained used and marginalized and betrayed by those political never do wells. Its on record that Ndeaboh community has been very supportive to the government of Enugu state, over the years, most especially the administration of Governor Ugwuanyi, who the community has described as a visionary leader and the most peaceful governor in the history of Enugu State, Nigeria.
Its very regrettable that these same set of people are at it again to cause problem for the people of Ndeaboh community. However, history will always remember that the same Igwe Ben Eze, Hon Bemidele Okechukwu Ndukwe, Engr. Patrick Ezebuilo Ikpenwa and their cohorts, were the charlatans used by Sen Ekweremadu to deny Ndeaboh, their chances of producing the elected chairman of Aninri LGA. This autonomous traditional ruler, has never known that his schedule of engagements as an Igwe does not include playing active politics, hence always making himself a willing tool for the destabilization of the greater Ndeaboh intrests.
We want to as a matter of urgency, urge the general public to disregard this infantile political visitation by few betrayers, by men of low esteem to the Senator who never meant good for the entire Ndeaboh, apart from deceiving and causing chaos for the community for these two decades, still running. This journey of Judaism to Sen Ekweremadu, are not from the original sons and daughters of the community, knowing that Ndeaboh has three to four autonomous communities with their town union executives, separately running their community in line with their constitution and traditional norms.
Unfortunately, HRH Ben Eze’s led team visit to Sen Ekweremadu, are those that have been against the governor and the government of Enugu state. Igwe Ben Eze is a man with a questionable character. He does not posses the criteria of someone being a traditional ruler. He is an evil man, very selfish, very occultic in a local form, and has been bewitching his autonomous community to always do his bidding. In a recent incident, he connived with his son to sell computers supplied for use at the community secondary school- Ndeaboh. This goes to show his criminal minded and selfish nature. We therefore, call on the state government, under the ministry of Chieftaincy affairs, to immediately, investigate the activities of Igwe Ben Eze, because this same man has abandoned his primary duties as an Igwe to be playing active politics. We moreover appeal to the state to please, review his position as an Igwe.
In addition, Engr. Patrick Ikpenwa has in the past caused Ndeaboh to lose the autonomous community they were once given due to the violence he directly instigated that led to to the death of a son of the soil. These are the calibre of people that visited Sen. Ike Ekweremadu. Very unfortunate set of individuals.
On a final note, Ndeaboh community in Aninri LGA, are very peaceful and law abiding people, we are the good ambassadors of the government of Enugu state. To this effect, we reaffirm our total support and commitment to remain steadfast with our political trajectory in Enugu which has been designed on zoning and rotational administrative formula, under the people’s democratic party (PDP). Our support and loyalty remain with the Executive Governor of Enugu state, His Excellency, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Gburugburu), and we are sincerely committed to his administration to finish well and therefore, timely anoint his successor as the spirit may lead him through the divine guidance and direction.
Finally, let the entire public, quickly disregard these evil people masquerading as Ndeaboh stakeholders. They do not represent the interest of the overall community, rather, these few individuals are the classified problem of the development of Ndeaboh as a town. We wish to make this document available to the press, so that everyone will know that Ndeaboh never came together to decide that Sen Ekweremadu be positioned to truncate the peaceful arrangement that gave him what he prides today in the Nigeria politics, rather, we as a people are wiser now than before, having suffered heavy betrayals, destruction and injustice in the hands of our distinguished Senator, who for many reasons has all the political opportunity in his life to change the political narrative of our community, but unfortunately, the reverse is the case. We are no longer playing second fiddle. Therefore, we reiterate that Ike Ekweremadu and his few gangsters in Ndeaboh should be ignored. He cannot continue to use us again.
A strong humanitarian side be the main distinguishing quality of every leader, especially in this stage of globalization when a human being cannot be isolated from one another, and one has to interact with everyone at all times. honorable Phillip Orji has proven himself to be more than what people talked about him in absentia through his humanitarian nature of political servitude in Aninri and Enugu state in particular and Nigeria in general.
Real leadership is not confined to geopolitical or regional boundaries, but it always seek to encompass a wider horizon and tries to reach out to humanity in general honorable phillip orji has through his efforts to keeping to his social contract with Ndi Aninri, elevated so many homes from poverty through job creation in his factory and youth empowerment programs that when evaluated has placed many of Enugu youths especially Aninri to be precised good jobs.

The administration of Hon Chief Benneth Ajah has embarked on the repositioning of the primary school system in all the 10 political wards in the local government, for adequate and standard provisions of education for the people of the area.
However, this has further proven the capacity of the new council chairman and his love & passion for education and human capital development. Recall that during the campaign period, Hon Chief Benneth Ajah, then the candidate of the people’s democratic party (PDP), promised that he is going to change the ugly narrative of the school system in the entire local government. However, within the one month of this administration, the new Administration has earnestly begun with the fulfillment of these campaign promises which is to eradicate poverty and end injustice in Aninri local government.
In addition, the administration has primed the end to injustice and poverty perpetrated against the people of Aninri, by some political leaders of the area, as a duty that must receive well commendation under this government.
Last week, the Executive Chairman began the first phase in the rehabilitation and reconstruction of fifteen primary schools, massively and aggressively ongoing, which has reached to an advance stage.
This first phase will capture about five schools on a spot, one from each community in the local government. According to the engineers handling the projects, its expected to be completed in no distant time, and the structures to be officially handed over to the school managements before the school resumption date, since they are still on Easter vacation.
The selected schools undergoing serious renovation/reconstructions for the first batch include:
Amabo community primary school Amorji Nenwe
Central School 1 Amokwe Oduma
Liberty primary school Mpu
Mainland Primary school Okpu – Okpanku
And a new construction of a five classroom compartment building with a VIP toilet together with a head teacher’s office, for Ndeaboh community.
This is to ensure equitable distribution of the government dividend within the local government and to further ensure that pupils and students of these schools, have a conducive environment that will foster academic excellence in the community.
As the work starts in earnest, the media crew are on standby to bring our people to speed on the updates.

Yesterday, the Council mayor and his executives commissioned four culverts built by Mr Benson Njoku-Ida, a philanthropist from Obuagu ohofia Oduma.
According to Mr Benson, “I built this culvets because of its need to unlock the tremendous opportunities for the micro agro-economy of my community, in line with your administration’s development agenda for our economic recovery.
Speaking further, “this project dovetails into the integrated development agenda of our administration; enhancing connectivity and ensure access rural farm roads to that will promote the businesses in the various communities, as well as stimulating commerce/economic growth for the benefit Aninri people. And I am very happy that the council chairman is here to commissioned it for public use. Thank you Mr chairman, for this honour.
Commissioning the project, in company of the facilitator, Mr Benson Njoku-Ida, and some of the government officials, ranging from; Hon Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, the Special Adviser, political Matters, office of the chairman, Hon Chief Onyekachi Ekpete, chief protocol officer and many other dignitaries, the council chairman stated that Mr Benson have brought development and hope to his people by building these culverts.
He expressed his gratitude to the almighty God, and thanked This philanthropist for “for this projects, brought to his community, especially at this hard time.
He, therefore, implored the residents and all users of the culverts to avoid unnecessary physical damage to them to ensure their durability.
At the end of the event , Mr Benson Njoku-Ida appreciated the Honourable Ajah for his good works he is doing so far in the local government . He expressed his appreciation with gifts (A goat and drinks) .
In the light of the above ceremony, the chairman, equally joined with Obuagu ohofia Oduma people in their mass return, Annual meeting.
